Qualifications

• Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery or Clinical Medicine and Community Health from a recognized institution;
• Certificate of Registration by Clinical Officers Council;
• Valid practicing license from the Clinical Officers Council;
• Certificate of Computer Application Skills from a recognized

Responsibilities

• Taking history, physical examination, diagnosing and treating the patient; Common ailment at an outpatient or inpatient health facility;
• Implementing Community care activities in liaison with other health workers;
• Guiding and counselling patient, clients and staff on the health issues;
• Sensitizing patients and client on preventive and Promotive health;
• Mentoring other health workers and students attached to respective departments;
• Carrying out minor surgical procedure as per the training and skills;
• Collecting and compiling clinical data;
• Referring patients and clients to appropriate health facilities; and
• Performing other duties assigned by their supervisor

Terms of Service: Three (3) years. Contract.
