    Registered Clinical Officer I - (Family Health) - 2 Posts

    REQUIREMENTS FOR APPOINTMENT

    • Be a Kenyan citizen:
    • Be a holder of Diploma in Clinical Medicine Surgery or Clinical Medicine & Community
    • Health or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
    • Be a holder of a Higher Diploma in Clinical Medicine in Family Health from a recognized institution:
    • Registration certificate from Clinical Officers’ Council:
    • Possess a valid practicing license from Clinical Officers’ Council:
    • Three (3) years relevant work experience;
    • Demonstrate a thorough understanding and commitment to values and principles as outlined in Articles 10 and 232 of the Constitution:
    • Ability fo work in a multi-ethnic environment and sensitivity and respect for diversity;
    • Must have good inter-personal and communication skills;
    • Proficiency in computer applications: ana
    • Satisfy the requirement of Chapter Six of the Constitution.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Provide primary healthcare services, maternal and child care, reproductive health, emergency care, and chronic disease management;
    • Promote health education, conduct screenings, participate in disease surveillance, and lead community health initiatives:
    • Deliver holistic care to all family members, offer chronic disease follow-up, and provide counseling and psychosocial support;
    • Supervise healthcare workers, train staff, and Coordinate referrals;
    • Implement health policies, manage resources, monitor programs, and collect health data;
    • Collaborate with other professionals and engage communities to improve access to care; and
    • Any other lawful duties that may be assigned from time to time.
