    • Work closely with the Technical Team, particularly Workstream Leads and regional teams to integrate GEDSI into all programme delivery.
    • Work with REINVENT downstream partners to ensure GEDSI is mainstreamed throughout their work and that their GEDSI approaches fit into the programme-level strategy – including reviewing and quality assuring Concept Notes and reports.
    • Provide training to local downstream partners to improve systems, processes, and procedure around the inclusion of women, men and underrepresented groups (such as ethnically marginalised groups, the economically vulnerable and PWDs).
    • Advise team on GEDSI considerations in policing and peacebuilding work to ensure equity in results and as a means of expanding the impact of work.
    • Work alongside the Technical Team and Programme Management Unit to ensure the project Does No Harm, including maximising opportunities for positive effect on peacebuilding and conflict dynamics, such as improved community relations and enhanced mediation, and good governance.

    • Contribute any significant gender work updates to monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc reporting for FCDO.
    • Coordinate with other members of the project team to ensure complementarity in work and consistent advice.
    • Support the work of the VAWG mitigation lead as required
    • Integrate best practice and learning from the GEDSI space, particularly integrating lessons from grassroots to national levels across East Africa and Kenya.
