GRADE REREC 6 (ON TEMPORARY TERMS OF SERVICE)

Job Specifications

Duties and responsibilities for the different functions will entail assisting in:-
- Assist on on-farm and on-station demonstrations of wood fuel species, seedlings’ production and management.
- Maintaining a data-bank of service providers; and
- Research and development, innovation and technology transfer in Alternative Energy technologies (solar, wind, small hydro and tidal waves);
- Engaging stakeholders in the promotion of Alternative Energy technologies (solar, wind, small hydro and tidal waves);
- Promoting Alternative Energy technologies (solar, wind, small hydro and tidal waves);
- Providing extension services on Alternative Energies Technologies;
- Disseminating Alternative Energy technologies (solar, wind, small hydro and tidal waves) information;
- Collecting and compiling data on Alternative Energy technologies (solar, wind, small hydro and tidal waves) activities;
(b) Person Specifications

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:-
- Bachelors degree in any of the following disciplines:, Renewable Energy Technologies, Chemistry, Physics, Biochemistry, Forestry, Agriculture, Environmental Science, Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Energy, Civil, Water) or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution;
- Proficiency in computer application; and
- Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.

Method of Application
