    Research & Learning Intern

    We are recruiting a Research and Learning Intern to support research tasks, project coordination, internal systems strengthening and visibility efforts. This is a learning-focused internship designed to expose an early career professional to real consulting assignments and participatory research and evaluation approaches. The role suits someone who is organized, curious, grounded in social justice values, and eager to grow.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Support desk research across gender equality, economic inclusion, climate resilience, governance, ect.
    • Assist with background analyses for proposals, evaluation frameworks, or field tools.
    • Support learning on participatory and feminist research approaches, including how Thrivbold integrates them in design and analysis.
    • Help prepare interview guides, surveys, and field tools. Organize transcripts, notes, and documentation in structured folders.
    • Assist with scheduling, coordination, file organization, and version control.
    • Maintain shared folders, internal templates, and documentation systems.
    • Draft simple updates, short social media text, or short summaries aligned with Thrivbold’s voice if required.
    • Support preparation of slides, briefs, or talking points for workshops, events, or external partners.
    • Participate in internal reflection sessions on feminist practice, systems thinking, and ethical research.
    • Maintain a learning journal capturing insights across the internship.

    Ideal Profile

    • The role is suited to individuals with academic backgrounds in gender studies, development studies, public policy, economics, public health, sociology, political science, communications, or similar fields.
    • Experience through study, volunteering, or early professional exposure to research, evaluation, policy work, or community programming is beneficial.
    • Candidates should have strong organizational skills and be proficient with SharePoint and messaging tools.
    • Familiarity with qualitative tools, transcription, or communications drafting is an asset
