Overview of the role

Responsible for the effective management of research projects and for the design, planning and scheduling of these. You will be required to manage and administer resources accordingly, ensuring projects are implemented effectively, efficiently and to the highest quality standards

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively establish, develop and manage a national and regional presence of the organization's research services, including understanding and complying with local laws, statutory rules and regulations
• Investigate potential markets and opportunities
• Research and contact potential clients, following through with meetings and proposals
• Build and maintain a client database of research buyers
• Acquire and maintain an in-depth knowledge of market techniques and practices
• Oversee taking of client briefs and writing of proposals
• Design questionnaires and sample frameworks
• Spearhead the fieldwork process, including but not limited to recruiting the field team, creating the budget, holding briefings and control of the fieldwork
• Conduct in-depth interviews and focus groups to gather data
• Manage the data collected through the transcription and interpretation of findings, data analysis and reporting, and final presentation of findings
• Develop, guide and assess the performance of the research staff within your region, particularly the interviewers and trainees
• Provide the necessary direction and structure to ensure staff understand their tasks and meet set targets
• Identify skills gaps and recommend the necessary training needs within the region
• Harmonize and coordinate activities within your region, setting an example in terms of commitment and responsibility to the company
• Ensure company business growth as w, as well as ensure sure regards of quality work, delivered to the clients.

Qualifications

• Degree in Statics, Economics or Social Sciences.
• Minimum 5 years in managing the full research cycle
• Strong analytical skills
• Establishing and maintaining interpersonal relationships
• Data collection and analysis
• Complex problem solving including deductive and inductive reasoning 
• Well-seasoned in Administration and team management
•  Demonstrated Customer service skills
• Great Time management skills
• Excellent Presentation Skills
