Reservations Specialist at Bobu Africa

Role Description

• The Reservation Specialist will support the head of reservation by handling day-to-day tasks and ensuring accurate execution of booking and reservation processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage reservations, bookings, rate contracts, and supplier communications with accuracy and efficiency. 
• Prepare quotations, invoices, and conduct hotel research.
• Adapt flexibly to client needs, ensuring precise and efficient execution.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in reservations, customer service, or travel operations.Bechelors in tourism management, travel operations, hospitality management, or a related field.
• Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong proficiency in MS Office tools like Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrate deep knowledge of East African tourism destinations and hotels in Kenya and Tanzania, ensuring accurate, error-free bookings and documentation.
• Proactive and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving, negotiation, and logical thinking abilities, capable of thriving under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
