You would be supporting the Business in Nairobi branch

Requirements

A Vacancy has arisen for a Rider Technician in our Nairobi branch.

The purpose of this role ist to carry out visits to customer’s premises in order to complete contractual commitments or job instruction commitments as specified.  To identify any instances where customer service could be extended to include other Specialist Hygiene Services or other services offered by the Company, and advise the customer accordingly. You will have a sales leads target of 2 per month.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Service customers’ premises in accordance with the contract or job specification.
• Undertake work in accordance with the safe systems of work as instructed by Manager/Supervisor;
• Comply with time allocations for specified work.
• Source for opportunities to cross sell and upsell the Company’s products & services to both existing and new customers
• Offer expert hygiene advice to the customers 
• Write accurate and helpful service and advice reports and discuss these with the customer as may be needed.
• Carry out service in route programme order and follow the procedure laid down for the service of new contracts, jobs and complaints.
• Complete service cards and all other records correctly and at the proper time.
• Comply with the special instructions laid down for certain customers.
• You have a personal responsibility for your own health and safety and that of other people affected by the work you do. Use of the PPE provided by the company is mandatory
• Register material usage on the service documents accurately and honestly 
• You must not tamper with, alter or change in any way, any item or equipment that has been issued to you or any other Rentokil employee.
• Adhere to company policies as explained by the YOU AND RENTOKIL booklet.
• Comply with Rentokil Initial work ethics and in particular compliance to key policies including Anti-bribery/Corruption provisions 
• Quick turn-around time and punctuality on scheduled tasks
• Any other duties as may be allocated

• Valid and current riders licence
• Proficient in English - written and spoken
• Customer Care experience advantageous
