Risk Analyst at Equity Bank Kenya

Description

The Risk Analyst will be responsible for developing and reviewing policies and programs that support the organizations overall risk management direction, oversees various areas of risk management like model validation and stress tests in all subsidiaries.

Key duties and responsibilities will entail;

• Conduct risk assessments and develop key risk indicators for monitoring and reporting
• stress testing of the various key risks facing the bank
• Participate in developing and updating models used to manage bank’s credit risk, operational risk, market risk, liquidity risks.
• Any other tasks as directed by the risk leadership

Qualifications

Desired Academic & Professional Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field [economics, statistics, mathematics, financial engineering, actuarial science etc.]
• Professional programs such as FRM, FRR, CFA, CPA, CISA, SCR etc. will be prefferd.
• Excellent MS office skills Good Analytical mindset Ability to work under pressure Good grasp of financial markets, current affairs, and economic issues.
