Sales and Collections Officer at 4G Capital

As a Sales and Collections Agent, you will be integral in supporting 4G Capital’s mission by acquiring new customers and ensuring the timely repayment of loans. Your work will be at the heart of our customer relationships, providing them with not just financial resources but the tools and knowledge to grow their businesses. You will be responsible for generating loan sales, managing collections, and ensuring the long-term health of the loan portfolio. In doing so, you will help foster financial inclusion across Kenya while driving the company's growth. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Loan Origination & Sales: Proactively generate new leads, conduct due diligence on potential clients, and offer tailored business training in financial management and business planning. 
• Collections & Portfolio Maintenance: Ensure timely loan repayments by managing collections and maintaining consistent communication with clients, addressing any discrepancies promptly. 
• Default Management: Handle cases of default with professionalism, escalating accounts as necessary, and negotiating repayment plans with a customer-centric approach. 
• Relationship Management: Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, referral partners, and external stakeholders, providing guidance and support throughout the loan process. 
• Risk & Credit Management: Adhere to credit policies, ensuring compliance with regulations
• and conducting thorough due diligence to assess and mitigate risks. 
• Market & Product Knowledge: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions to help drive customer acquisition and maintain a strong portfolio. 

Who We Are Looking For: 

• Experience: At least 1-2 years of sales and collections experience, preferably within a financial institution, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets. 
• Skills: Strong understanding of loan products, credit analysis, and risk management principles. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
