Senga is a logistics software and services company catering to businesses shipping in Africa. Our goal is to simplify and ease the supply chain and logistics experience for the businesses that we serve, from the movement of goods to the software tools used to manage the workflows that help our customers get products to their customers.
We are looking for a smart Sales Engineer interested in evangelizing software to join our team. We strongly prefer candidates with Engineering or Computer Science backgrounds. If you studied Computer Science or Electronic Engineering, and did well, don’t want to be a dev but want to remain technical, are organized, and possess the ability to persuade, we’d love to hear from you.
*We are an in-office company*. This is important for the stage we are in, the culture we are working to build, and the highly collaborative environment we require for success. (Thus, this role is not suited to remote applicants. In the future, if/when we have such roles, we will publish them.)
About the role
As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for helping us get our new software products to the market. You will understand our business and products deeply, understand our customers’ businesses and products deeply, and connect the two for success on both ends. You are very technically adept, are flexible (this is a new role in our company), are hungry, friendly, organized and work easily will all kinds of people.
