    Sales Manager (B2B Software)

    Job summary: 

    Talented and dynamic Sales Manager to drive software sales initiatives. This is a pivotal role that requires a strong sales acumen, exceptional leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the B2B software industry.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Develop and Execute Sales Strategy:

    • Develop a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with company goals and objectives.
    • Identify target markets and segments to focus sales efforts on.
    • Create and implement sales plans to meet or exceed revenue targets.
    • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.

    Business Development:

    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
    • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and assess their needs.
    • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline by proactively engaging with prospects.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop lead generation strategies and campaigns.
    • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking events to generate new leads and establish strategic partnerships.

    Team Leadership and Management:

    • Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing sales team.
    • Set clear sales targets and motivate the team to achieve and exceed them.
    • Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and professional development opportunities to maximize individual and team performance.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement corrective actions when necessary.

    Customer Relationship Management:

    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in target organizations.
    • Understand customer needs and pain points, and effectively position the software solutions as the ideal solution.
    • Conduct effective product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value proposition of the software.
    • Collaborate with the customer success team to ensure a seamless onboarding and post-sales experience.

    Sales Process and Pipeline Management:

    • Implement a structured sales process and provide guidance to the sales team throughout the entire sales cycle.
    • Monitor and analyze sales metrics and KPIs to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
    • Develop and maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecast, ensuring revenue targets are met.
    • Utilize CRM systems and other sales tools to manage sales activities and data effectively.

    Collaboration and Communication:

    • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product management, and other departments to align sales efforts and strategies.
    • Communicate market feedback, customer insights, and competitive intelligence to internal stakeholders.
    • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings, effectively communicating value propositions.
