Sales Manager at Fanisi HR Solutions

Shalaliswa is a distribution company that supplies schools and other education stakeholders around Kenya with books from local private publishers. We are looking for a Sales Manager to source and lead a team of Sales Representatives and to ensure sales targets are met.

Gross Salary 95,000/-

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Overall responsible for running the business
2. Act as the main contact person for enquiries
3. Manage all operations and administration
4. Oversee bookkeeping and some accounting
5. Recruit and manage a team of sales representatives
6. Manage sales and ensure targets are met
7. Create and design policies, processes, and procedures to ensure goals are met
8. Support and train the sales representatives
9. Coach and manage the performance of the team
10. Liaise with suppliers to place orders
11. Manage procurement processes
12. Manage logistics and be responsible for office administration

Persons’ Specifications

1. Very strong sales skills
2. Excellent leadership and management skills
3. At least 5 years of relevant work experience
4. A university degree is an advantage. Minimum diploma
5. Has great operations and administration skills
6. Keen attention to detail with organization, planning, coordination skills
7. Ability to follow through on work assignments and targets
8.  Able to recruit, onboard, develop and manage a team of salespeople
9. Understanding of procurement and logistics management
10. Confident communicator
11. Very strong writing skills with a good command of MS Office
