Duties and Responsibilities

1. Analyze revenues, commissions and expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately on a monthly basis.
2. Prepare monthly account reconciliations.
3. Analyze financial statements on a monthly basis and report on variances.
4. Prepare financial and tax audits.
5. Assist with preparing tax returns and corporate reporting requirements at KUTRRH.
6. Prepare quarterly producer commission reports, analyzing and correcting discrepancies.
7. Assist in documentation and monitoring of internal controls.
8. Support CFO in ensuring that intercompany cost allocations are in line with management agreements and transfer pricing policy.
9. Establish and maintain systems for cost–sensitivity analysis and early–warning of cost–overruns.
10. Work consultatively with the respective departments on cost reduction initiatives.
11. Develop and maintain internal control and effective accounting system and policies for the set up.
12. Perform cash flow forecasting, budgeting and working closely with the operations and project teams in analyzing margins, variances and cost analysis.
13. Facilitate and complete monthly close procedures.
14.  Issue project cost reports for review and approval.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

1. Bachelor’s degree in any of the following: Commerce, Business Management, Business Administration (Accounting or Finance option) from a recognized Institution.
2. Certified Public Accountants (K) Examination or its Equivalent.
3. Registered with Institute of Public Accounts (ICPAK).
4. Proficiency in computer applications.
5. At least three (3) years’ working experience as an accountant or equivalent position.
6. Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures.
7. Hands–on experience with accounting software.
