Senior Analyst- Quantitative Risk at Sun King (Formerly Greenlight Planet)

About the Role:
The role holder should have expertise in strategic evaluation, business storytelling, and advanced analytics to play a pivotal role in transforming data into actionable business insights. The successful candidate will deeply understand business bottlenecks, leverage data evaluation techniques, and effectively communicate complex evaluation to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. This role requires a strong ability to bridge the gap between business strategy, and technology.

What you will be expected to do:

• Develop and execute advanced analytics solutions and statistical evaluation, to solve complex business problems
• Apply A/B testing, regression evaluation, hypothesis testing, and other statistical methodologies to validate business strategies and enhance strategic choice.
• Work with senior managers to identify strategic opportunities and guide data-guided choices.
•  Design and develop impactful dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau, Looker, or Power BI, enabling stakeholders to make informed choices.
• Serve as a trusted advisor by applying a deep comprehension of business operations to recommend strategies that drive growth, operational improvements, and team work.
• Drive the development and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Leverage a strong comprehension of business processes to provide recommendations on optimizing operations and improving outcomes.
• Partner with engineering teams to design and optimize data pipelines and workflows.

You might be a strong candidate if you:

• Hold a bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or another related quantitative discipline.
• Possess 4+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Strategic Evaluation, or a similar role, with a proven track record of using data to drive business performance, operational improvements, and strategic initiatives.
• Demonstrate advanced proficiency in SQL and Python, with demonstrated experience querying large datasets, building analytical models, automating analyses, and solving complex, ambiguous business problems.
• Have strong analytical and statistical expertise, including hypothesis generation and testing, root cause analysis, experimentation (A/B testing), trend analysis, cohort analysis, performance diagnostics, and applying statistical techniques to solve complex business problems.
• Demonstrate knowledge of machine learning concepts and predictive evaluation, with the ability to apply appropriate techniques to solve business bottlenecks and uncover strategic opportunities.
• Have expertise in data visualization and business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker, with the ability to develop impactful dashboards and translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
• Demonstrate strong business acumen, with experience identifying cross-functional business bottlenecks, framing business questions, evaluating strategic opportunities, and influencing product, operational, or strategic initiatives through data-guided recommendations.
• Have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to present evaluation findings, tell compelling data stories, and communicate technical insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences while recommending practical, actionable solutions.
