Senior Counsel Civil Litigation - 5 Posts
- Job Type Full Time
- Qualification BA/BSc/HND
- Experience 4 years
- Location Nairobi
- Job Field Legal and Regulatory
Job Requirement
- Possess a Bachelors of Laws degree from a recognized University.
- Be an Advocate of the High court of at least four (4) years.
- Meets the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010.
- Possesses a valid practicing certificate.
Job Description
- Advising, representing, and defending the county in matters of Litigation and ADR.
- Providing guidance on compliance with court orders, judgments, and decrees affecting the County.
- Preparation of briefs, opinions and legal instruments.
- Preparing affidavits/counter affidavits in Civil Proceedings by or affecting the County.
- Preparing and instituting matters in court on behalf of the County.
- Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
