Job Requirement

• A Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from a recognized University.
• Must be a practicing Advocate in the High Court of at least four years post administration experience.
• Demonstrate basic understanding of Public Procurement Laws.
• Must demonstrate excellent communication and reporting skills
• Must possess Advanced Computer application and skills
• Must demonstrate knowledge and experience in conveyancing (practice and procedure).
• Meet the requirements of chapter 6 of the Constitution of Kenya.

Job Description

• Handling County transactions.
• Offering legal advice on procurement matters.
• Drafting Contracts and agreements
• Preparations of legal opinions and legal instruments/documents.
• Vetting legal documents including contracts, Memorandum of Understanding, consents and Leases.
• Drawing conveyancing instruments on behalf of the County entities and sectors.
• Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
