Senior Manager – Audit & Assurance at MGI Alekim LLP

Job Overview

• Proactively assist in the management of audit clients, responsible for the day-to-day management of audit assignments.
• Maintaining a relentless focus on quality and strive to uphold the highest professional standards and levels of objectivity, independence, ethics, and integrity within our system of quality management.
• Provide guidance to audit team by sharing best practice so that their work meets and exceeds quality standards.
• Developing strategies to solve complex technical challenges and contribute to the development of your own and your team’s technical acumen.
• Responsible for management and delivery of projects, ensuring that deadlines are met.
• Supporting business development activities including strategy, opportunity tracking, proposal writing and presentations.
• Display professional skepticism, raising and discussing contentious observations with management and provide evidence to support all issues identified.
• Keeping up to date with local and international business emerging issues.
• Build and maintain productive work relationships with staff and clients.
• Constantly develop your understanding of changing market trends, processes and sharing your knowledge to develop staff.
• Maintain compliance with all relevant regulators- ICPAK, MGI Worldwide, Financial Reporting Centre etc.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, professional ethics, independence requirements and the firm's quality management framework.

Qualifications:-

• Bachelors degree in Commerce, Accounts/Finance /Economics, or related field.
• CPA(K) or equivalent professional qualification is mandatory.
• Minimum 8 years' relevant audit/assurance experience, with at least 3 years experience of similar role.
• Membership in good standing with a relevant professional body, preferably ICPAK.
• Experience across the entire audit process.
• Good communication skills both oral and written.
• Masterly understanding with audit software’s.
• Masterly ability to manage audit teams.
