    Senior Manager – Segment Marketing (Enterprise Business)


    We are pleased to announce the following vacancy for Senior Manager – Segment Marketing (Enterprise Business ) within Segments Tribe. In keeping with our current business needs, we are looking for a person who meets the criteria indicated below.

    Reporting to the Tribe Lead – Segments marketing the role holder will; 

    • Establish a clear positioning for Safaricom Business as the trusted advisor and partner for seamless end to end technology for all business customers in Kenya
    • Lead the Safaricom Business marketing strategy development and oversee the execution of a segmented & integrated platform, communicate in compelling ways, consistently engage and delight Enterprise customers with experiences tied to their specific needs, leverage strategic partnerships for growth and amplification 
    • As a custodian of the Enterprise customer, you will be responsible to lead an end to end insight led Enterprise Marketing team to acquire, grow and retain customers while efficiently managing Opex


    • End to end accountability of Enterprise customer engagement platform(s) from insights and foresights generation, relevant Hero proposition and seamless digital first customer journeys.
    • Responsible for Enterprise NPS, Brand love, consideration and revenue.
    • Clear roadmap for the Enterprise portfolio per business segment to deliver on mission KPIs.
    • Ownership of Enterprise GTM strategies per Segment and publicity opex while driving efficiency to deliver maximum ROI value.
    • Manage the agency creative development process and resourcing levels required for Safaricom Enterprise to ensure delivery of above the line, and below the line advertising materials for execution. 
    • Stakeholder management across the business to deliver brilliant executions for the benefit of the Enterprise business.
    • People responsibility for the Chapter to ensure team members and ready, willing and able to deliver the mission. 


    • A degree in marketing, business administration. 
    • 10 years’ experience in driving a B2B Marketing organization successfully.
    • Strong leadership skills
    • Strong creative and conceptual skills.
    • Attention to detail with excellent interpersonal and communications skills
