    Senior Product Operations Manager

    Your Role

    • Do you like solving problems, creating and improving processes, driving change,  facilitating better communication and helping teams do the best work they possibly can? 
    • KOKO is looking for a product-minded, highly organized, process-driven manager to join our growing Product Operations team. This position has the potential to make a big difference on how we imagine and build products to delight our colleagues and customers.
    • You will elevate the performance of the entire Product team by improving how we streamline our product processes, facilitate change in our team and the teams we work with,  and facilitate regular updates with our partners and colleagues, so they understand how our work moves the business forward.
    • This is an analytical and people-oriented role - requiring a strong operational background, enjoying working with people across the organisation, and being a quick learner.
    • This role requires significant time close to our operations in Nairobi.

    What You Will Do

    • You will work within Product and other teams that work with Product to create and refine our processes, systems and tools across the product development lifecycle.
    • You will work with the Product Operations team on communicating progress and impact across the organisation, soliciting feedback cross-functionally to continuously improve how we deliver outcomes as a Product team.
    • You will combine a process-driven mindset and analytical thinking to help KOKO solve some of its biggest Product challenges 
    • You will constantly evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of the Product team’s collaboration with other teams, finding issues, recommending solutions, building buy-in for changes and supporting implementation.
    • You will strengthen the feedback loop with customers and internal users of our technology solutions and products to ensure the Product team understands the key issues to solve.
    • You will lead change management initiatives.
    • You are data-driven, ensuring our Product teams have insightful qualitative and quantitative data to make insightful decisions.
    • You will research, share, and support the adoption of product management best practices.

    What You Will Bring to KOKO

    • We are looking for a hands-on manager with a blend of business and product management savvy as well as strategic thinking and tactical execution, who is passionate about shaping excellent product management in Africa.
    • 3+ years experience in management consulting, or roles related to product management, with a strong track record of creating and improving processes and working practices.
    • You have experience managing and strengthening process improvements that lead to improved business outcomes.
    • You have experience in the successful driving and delivery of projects in a timely manner.
    • You're proficient in numbers and passionate about data. You have experience driving change based on data.  
    • You love to get into the weeds when necessary and pay close attention to detail.
    • You can influence without authority. 
    • You are a confident communicator in any medium (slides, written documents, oral communication skills).
    • You have a growth mindset. 
    • You are comfortable with ambiguity in a high growth environment.
    • You are a self starter and have an ownership mindset.
