Senior Project Manager at Synkron International

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing a project from start to finish. This candidate will be able to create a plan of action which will consider a fixed timeline and evaluate risks. This individual should also have experience managing people and be an effective communicator. 

 Job Description:

• Develop and implement project plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate project activities, tasks, and dependencies across multiple teams and departments.
• Communicate project status, progress, and risks to stakeholders through regular updates and meetings.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, and escalate as needed to ensure timely resolution.
• Monitor project budgets, expenses, and resource utilization to ensure projects are delivered within budget constraints.
• Facilitate effective collaboration and communication among project team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Manage vendor relationships and contracts as needed for project execution.
• Conduct project post-mortems and lessons learned sessions to identify areas for improvement and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with project management methodologies, standards, and processes.
• Support the continuous improvement of project management tools, templates, and documentation.
• Any other task assigned by management.

Requirements

Job Specification: 

• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronic, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing and industrial methodologies (e.g., JIT, ME) and project management frameworks (e.g., PMP).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as Zoho projects, Trello, or Microsoft Project.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience leading cross-functional project teams.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex problems and make data-driven decisions.
• PMP certification or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
• Familiarity with Life Cycle Service (LCS) processes and methodologies.

Relevant Experience: 

• Proven experience 3-5 years in Engineering Project Management, preferably in a engineering or technology-focused environment. MUST have a demonstrable 3 -5 years of such deployments in an active Engineering Projects environment.
• ​This role requires a balance between technical and project manager skills. You will be required to get actively hands-on with project design or directly assist junior engineers with design and at the same time manage ongoing engineering projects.
