    Senior Supply Chain Management Assistant

    Job Specifications
    Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail: -

    • Receiving stores;
    • Processing of purchase requisitions, purchase orders and expenditure;
    • Receiving and processing suppliers’ invoices for payment;
    • Inspecting the condition of goods received;
    • Checking and verifying issue notes and invoices;
    • Issuing stores to users;
    • Preparing periodic stores returns;
    • Preparing requisitions for stocks replenishment;
    • Preparing and maintaining stores records;
    • Keeping safe custody of stores; and
    • Stocktaking and reconciling records.

    Person Specifications

    For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:-

    • Served for a minimum period of four (4) years;
    • Diploma in any of the following disciplines: - Purchasing and Supplies or Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supplies (CIPS) Final;
    • Certificate in Supervisory course lasting not less than two (2) weeks from a recognized institution;
    • Proficiency in computer applications;
    • Met the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution; and
    • Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance.

    • Time Management.

      • Clearance from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC).
      • Clearance from the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB).
      • Credit Reference Bureau (CRB) clearance report.
      • Valid Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations.
    • Applicants are advised to indicate the position and reference number on their cover letter; their current and expected salaries;
    • Each application should be accompanied with a detailed curriculum vitae, copies of relevant academic and professional certificates and transcripts, National Identity Card or Passport, testimonials and other relevant supporting documents;
