Senior Trader - Global Markets at Standard Investment Bank

To manage our progressive growth, we are looking to recruit a Senior Trader in the Global Markets Division.

Responsibilities include:

• Using technical, fundamental and sentiment analysis to formulate and execute clear trade ideas with approval by the Executive Director, Global markets
• Work within the laid down risk managements limits as per the Global Markets policy with direction by the Executive Director, Global Markets
• Evaluating trading algorithms
• Collating relevant information and data
• Consistently reaching the laid down targets on the trading desk while adhering to the risk management framework
• Liaising closely with sales staff and inter-dealer brokers and traders
• Determining market sentiment via research, valuation and data analysis
• Monitoring market performance and using this to execute trades
• Market Making in specific OTC products
• Providing key counterparties with daily trading information
• Informing sales staff and financial advisors about market movements/prices
• Creating a daily exposure report of running trades with the Executive Director, Global Markets
