Required Skills and Experience

• 10+ years of experience across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) within a web-based SaaS environment.
• Strong practical knowledge of Agile development methodologies and experience leading software development teams in Agile environments.
• Strong engineering foundation demonstrated through experience designing complex systems and enterprise web-based platforms.
• Experience building applications using MultiValue database technologies such as UniData, UniVerse, or similar platforms.
• Hands-on experience implementing DevOps technologies and practices, including containerization, configuration management, monitoring, deployment, and automation tools.
• Hands-on experience with technologies used throughout the company's technology stack, including Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, and ASP.NET Core.
• Experience with data streaming and messaging technologies such as Azure Service Bus, Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar solutions.
• Experience deploying and troubleshooting applications hosted on cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
• Experience developing and maintaining applications using AI-assisted engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude Code.
• Proven leadership experience defining and delivering innovative technology roadmaps.
• Experience and interest in legacy modernization initiatives.
• Familiarity with emerging open-source technologies.
• Strong leadership, critical thinking, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving, planning, and organizational abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong business acumen and a customer-focused mindset.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Job Summary

• As a Software Architect, you will have a hands-on role driving the organization in delivering the next generation of SaaS solutions following Agile-based development methodologies.
• You will engage with software development teams, product management, and senior leadership to create the vision and architecture that supports the company's growth strategy.
• Success in this role requires the ability to operate effectively at multiple levels, ranging from working directly with individual developers, collaborating with senior engineers on architecture and design, and partnering with executives and stakeholders on strategic initiatives.
• Strong communication, credibility, and influence are essential to advancing architectural objectives across the organization.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

• Create high-quality, working prototypes and proof-of-concepts (POCs) to be leveraged by development teams.
• Partner with other Architects to develop the architecture vision and roadmap for the company's platform.
• Collaborate with executive management to define technology strategy while considering business and technology trends.
• Partner with product leaders to design applications that support the product roadmap.
• Coordinate and drive the design and integration of major new capabilities into the product portfolio, ensuring architectural decisions address future scalability, security, and long-term business objectives while meeting short-term market needs.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of architects and software developers, establishing best-in-class systems and processes for delivering high-quality software aligned with architectural standards and principles.
