Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure software meets quality standards.
• Collaborate closely with the development team to understand software requirements and design effective testing strategies.
• Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing to identify and report software defects and anomalies.
• Document and track defects, working with developers to ensure timely resolution and retesting.
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback to ensure testability and quality of software deliverables.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies, adopting and implementing industry best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software is user-friendly, reliable, and meets customer expectations.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and advancements in software testing techniques and tools.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Software Tester or similar role, with a strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
• Familiarity with manual testing techniques, as well as experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium or JUnit.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify, isolate, and document software defects.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate defects and issues to stakeholders.
• Experience with bug tracking systems and test management tools.
• ISTQB certification or similar software testing certifications are a plus.
