Solar Technical Sales Representatives - Nakuru at StarTimes Media

Objective of the position:

The Solar Technical Sales Representative will be responsible for system installation, servicing, and maintenance teams of Solar PV and energy storage systems. The successful candidates should have a very keen understanding and implementation of structural and electrical engineering concepts.

Requirements

• A Degree/Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or any other qualification with considerable experience in solar sales and installation.
• At least 2 years' experience in the solar industry, with leading solar products service providers is an added advantage.

You might have an added advantage if you have a:

• Have a T1, T2 or T3 or equivalent qualification.
• Have a minimum of 2 years' experience in solar panel installation or a related field.
• Have knowledge of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems and their components.
• Have a working knowledge of electrical fundamentals according to Occupational Safety and Health regulations.
• Are able to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Have experience working at heights and in various weather conditions.
• Should have excellent physical condition with the ability to lift and carry heavy equipment.
