JOB SUMMARIES

Ilara Health is seeking a remote sonographer to support in delivering quality ultrasound examinations to clients and make quality reports to assist the physician with the correct diagnosis and treatment

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct effective ultrasound procedures
• Participate in company meeting
• Support in the development of training materials
• Ensure adequate and correct information is given to the patients regarding the procedures
• Maintain client confidentiality in accordance with privacy laws, policies and procedures
• Participate in preparation and implementation of quality initiatives aimed at improving overall service quality
• Assume responsibility for the safety of the client during the sonographic examinations

Requirements

• Diploma in medical imaging, higher diploma in ultrasound, degree in radiography from a recognized institution
• Must be registered with the Society of Radiography Kenya (SORK)
• Must possess a valid practicing license issued by the Kenya Nuclear Regulatory Authority
• Minimum of 2 years of working experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Computer literacy
• Ability to work effectively with the team
• Ability to work in flexible shift
