Sports Registrar - 2 Posts at Public Service Commission Kenya (PSCK)

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:-

• A Bachelors Degree in Law (LLB) from a university recognized in Kenya;
• A valid Practicing Certificate from the Law Society of Kenya;
• Be an advocate of the High Court of Kenya; and
• A Diploma in Law from the law Council of Legal Education    

Duties and Responsibilities
This is an entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a senior officer. Duties and responsibilities will include:-

• Analyzing and processing applications for registration of sport organizations;
• Analyzing and processing applications for licensing of professional sports bodies and professional sports persons;
• Undertaking litigation on behalf of the Office;
• Verifying information submitted by sports organization and sports persons to ensure compliance;
• Conducting name search for registration of new sports organizations and professional sports bodies; and
• Carrying out search on information contained in the registers for sports organization and bodies.
