Orthopaedic Trauma Technician at St. Clare's Kaplong Mission Hospital

Job Description

• Fixing and removing casts, bandages to and from patients;
• Correcting Congenital Talipes Equino – Venous (T.E.V).
• Participating in managing of minor Orthopaedic and Trauma cases in emergencies and accidents.
• Sensitizing and creating awareness on Orthopaedic trauma conditions to communities.
• Guiding and counselling patients, clients and staff on issues regarding to Orthopaedic Trauma.
• Referring patients and clients to appropriate level of care.
• Manipulating and Reducing fractures and dislocations.

Requirements 

• Be a holder of a Diploma in Orthopaedic Plaster and Traction Technology from a recognized institution.
• Membership with a relevant professional body
• Proficient in computer applications
• Team player with great inter-personal and communication skills
