    Store Manager

    Duties &  Responsibilities

    • Manage the procurement process, including sourcing, negotiating with suppliers, placing orders, and ensuring timely delivery of products.
    • Oversee all aspects of the store's operations, including sales, inventory management, customer service, and employee management.
    • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
    • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular inventory audits to ensure stock levels are sufficient to meet customer demand.
    • Manage relationships with suppliers and ensure that all products meet our quality standards.
    • Train and supervise store staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high levels of customer service and operational efficiency.
    • Develop and implement store policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.
    • Monitor and analyze sales and inventory data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Procurement, or a related field.
    • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the retail or construction industry.
    • Proven track record of managing store operations and procurement processes.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a team.
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management software (Sage).
    • Knowledge of paints and interior finishes is a plus.
