Strategy & Innovation Fellow at CarePay Ltd

The Strategy & Innovation Fellow will play a key role in driving strategic and innovation projects to support the company’s growth and expansion. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on high-impact initiatives, shaping the future of healthcare financing in emerging markets. 

You will be responsible for leading and executing various strategic projects, which include but are not limited to: 

• Supporting the African expansion strategy by identifying opportunities and potential markets. 
• Identifying key AI opportunities, solutions, and partnerships for our platform. 
• Driving the development of innovative finance propositions. 
• Driving the development of new commercial propositions. 
• This role is ideal for a highly analytical, commercially minded professional with an interest in innovation, strategy, and market expansion. 

 WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT AS A STRATEGY & INNOVATION FELLOW: 

• Lead and execute strategic projects that align with CarePay’s growth objectives. 
• Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify new opportunities. 
• Develop and test innovative healthcare financing and insurance solutions. 
• Engage with key stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners. 
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, sales, and operations teams. 
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of strategic initiatives. 
• Support the design and execution of new business models and partnerships. 
• Any other relevant strategic support as needed. 

 YOUR AREAS OF KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE: 

• At least 2 years of working experience in strategy consulting or a similar field. 
• University degree. 
• Background in Healthcare or Insurance/InsurTech is a plus. 
• Working experience in Kenya/East Africa is a plus. 
• Knowledge of SQL, experience with data visualization tools, and/or coding is a plus.
