Study Abroad Advisor at Career Options Africa Ltd

THE JOB

We are seeking a Study Abroad Advisor to support students seeking quality education opportunities overseas. The successful candidate will guide students through academic planning, admissions, visa processing and departure arrangements.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct in-depth consultations with students and parents to understand academic goals, career aspirations, and financial capacity.
• Assess students’ academic background, financial capacity, and career goals to recommend suitable institutions and programs.
• Guide students through university applications, offer letters, acceptances, and enrollment processes.
• Prepare and review student visa applications in compliance with immigration regulations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with partner universities and colleges
• Any additional duties as may be assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

We are targeting candidates with the following qualifications.

• A bachelor’s degree in Business or any relevant field
• At least 2 years of experience as a study abroad advisor or a related role in a study aboard Consultancy firm in any Country in Africa

SKILLS AND COMPETENCES

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and competencies.

• Strong understanding of international admissions and visa processes
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work with diverse international clients
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Good problem-solving skills 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
