    Sub County Education Officer / Education Officer

     REF/MCPSB/413/2022

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Classroom Teaching coordination
    • Ensuring the Preparation and Maintenance of lesson notes, schemes of work, student assessment reports, and records of work and other records within the sub county.
    • Ensuring that all teachers within the sub county Develop and organize relevant teaching and learning materials
    • Initiating and organizing curricula and co-curricular activities
    • Assessing and evaluating student’s performance and provision of remedial action within the sub county
    • Making sure that there is Maintenance and improvement of discipline in the class and in the institutions of the sub county- and
    • Providing guidance and counselling to students

    Requirements for Appointment

    • Must be a Kenyan Citizen
    • Bachelor’s Degree or a post graduate diploma in Education from a recognized University/institution
    • A certificate in computer applications from a recognized institution

    Method of Application

    • All applications should reach the Secretary/CEO Migori County Public Service Board on or before Tuesday 18th July 2022 at 5:00pm.
    • Shortlisted candidates will be required to produce their original identity cards, academic and professional certificates, and testimonials.
    • For successful candidates to meet the requirements of chapter six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010, applicants must obtain the following clearance:
    • Tax compliance certificate from KRA
    • Clearance certificate from HELB
    • Clearance certificate from Ethics and Anticorruption Commission (EACC)
    • Certificate of good conduct from the Criminal Investigation Department
