Support Engineer at Baran Telecom Networks Kenya Limited

Responsibilities:

• Project Management and Planning: Define project scope, objectives, and requirements, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility. Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
• Resource Management: Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects. Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Risk Management: Perform risk management to minimize project risks. Identify potential risks and issues, creating contingency plans and tracking the resolution of issues.
• Quality Assurance: Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques. Maintain high standards of quality assurance, including proofing all project documentation.
• Communications: Manage communications with stakeholders, the team, and management. Report and escalate issues to management as needed.
• Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors. Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
• Compliance: Ensure all project activities comply with company policies and legal requirements.

Requirements
Minimum Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical/Telecommunication engineering

Minimum Previous Experience:

• A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in Telecommunication and related projects
• Over 3 years' experience in project management and delivery of related projects
• Experience in network survey and design of fiber networks and both LAN connections
• Excellent knowledge of both fiber technologies and WiFi technologies
• Knowledge and experience in Using project management tools such as Zoho and MS projects
• Strong working knowledge of MS Excel

Minimum Additional Training:

• Project management training is desirable
