Role Purpose

To ensure that all the purchase requests have been processed and the materials have been bought & delivered to the farm.

Accountabilities (Indirect Purchase)

• Issue Local Purchase orders
• Liaise with contracted suppliers to ensure scheduled maintenance programs are adhered to
• Liaise with suppliers to get optimum prices of items required
• Check and verify requisition documents before procuring the items
• Prepare & issue any other required documents for procurement
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure items ordered have been delivered
• Ensure details of returned items are well documented and follow-up on re-supply
• Verify availability of the items from suppliers before procurement
• Ensure Job card & project certificates have been issued by the supplier
• Ensure the prevailing Market data collection is done promptly
• Ensure that HSE rules and regulations for the company are observed by the suppliers
• Enforce HSE rules and regulations and champions the implementation of the Syngenta HSE policy in all business operations.
• Any other tasks & projects as may be allocated from time to time

• Diploma in Purchase and Supply Management
• Undergraduate in purchasing & supplies will be an added advantage
