    Manager, Corporate Communications and Public Relations - (1 Post)

    Job Purpose
    The job holder is responsible for branding, development and implementation of communication and marketing strategy, policies and plans. 

    Key duties and responsibilities

    • Initiating the development and implementation of communication strategies, policies and workplans;
    • Organizing corporate events;
    • Developing information, education and communication materials;
    • Liaising with departments to generate content material for dissemination;
    • Promoting a positive corporate image of the Agency; 
    • Managing public relations; 
    • Providing Media liaison services; 
    • Developing and implementing corporate social responsibility programs; and
    • Handling complaints in the Agency.

    Person specification

    For appointment to this position, a candidate must have: -

    • At least ten (10) years relevant work experience three (3) of which should have been in in supervisory role; 
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Public Relations or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
    • Master’s Degree in Communication, Public Relations or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
    • Professional qualification and membership where applicable;
    • Management course lasting not less four (4) weeks from a recognized institution;
    • Meets the provision of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
