Tax Associate at Bon & Drew Associates

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in finance/ accounting or any other business course from a recognized institution.
• At least 2 years work experience handling tax matters.
• Professional qualification ie CPA / ACCA/ CISA/ CFA or any other.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Preparing and filing tax returns for companies, partnerships, and individuals.
• Researching and keeping up to date on tax issues to offer advisory to clients and assisting with tax audits.
• Consulting with clients, reviewing their tax information, and responding to questions and concerns.
• Carrying out tax risk and opportunities reviews
• Building and maintaining relationships with the client and the KRA
• Liaising with the relevant officers at KRA on various tax and policy matters
• Assisting clients prepare for and resolve KRA audits and statements of accounts issues.
• Preparing objections and appeals to KRA assessments. Assisting in the firm’s business development through responses to RFPs .
