• At Talent Grid Africa, we are hiring on behalf of our esteemed client for the position of Tax Specialist a role that demands both technical precision and client-facing confidence.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• As a Tax Specialist, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring tax compliance, optimizing tax strategies, and advising clients with clarity and accuracy. You will be responsible for:
• Leading tax compliance reviews and tax health checks across multiple industries
• Handling complex assignments involving KRA objections and appeal processes
• Drafting well-researched, high-quality tax advisory reports in line with Kenyan legislation
• Analyzing financial statements and identifying tax implications unique to each sector
• Providing accurate tax opinions on client queries and industry-specific concerns
• Offering mentorship and quality review for junior team members
• Managing ongoing client relationships and ensuring top-tier service delivery
• Participating in proposal writing, business development, and cross-selling opportunities
• You’ll be the go-to expert for navigating both direct and indirect taxes combining strategic insights with regulatory precision.

What We’re Looking For:

• We're looking for someone with a deep understanding of Kenyan tax systems, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to translate complex regulations into actionable solutions for clients.
• CPA-K Certified
• KESRA Graduate
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 4+ years of relevant experience in tax consulting or audit
• Strong understanding of KRA processes, financial reporting, and compliance laws
• Excellent interpersonal and client management skills
• Strong leadership and mentorship capabilities
