Tech & Data Project Lead at Moringa School

Moringa School is looking for a Tech & Data Project Lead who will be responsible for:

• Determining project requirements and developing work schedules for the team.
• Lead the execution of some elements of the Technology & Data roadmap.
• Delegating tasks and achieving daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly goals.
• Liaising with team members, management to ensure projects are completed to standard.
• Identifying risks and forming contingency plans as soon as possible.
• Analyzing existing operations and scheduling training sessions and meetings to discuss improvements.
• Updating work schedules and performing troubleshooting as required.
• Being transparent with the team about challenges, failures, and successes.
• Writing progress reports and delivering presentations to the relevant stakeholders.
• Building playbooks with clear documentation and process flows. 
• Manage the Data Engineer, Business Analyst and Student Systems Administrator. 
• Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and developments. 

We expect the holder of this position to have the following qualifications and skills

• Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role, 3 of which must be in a Senior Associate capacity
• BSc in Design, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• Negotiation skills 
• Creativity and problem solving skills - challenging the conventional wisdom
• Sense of leadership and mentorship
• Experience developing and deploying end to end software solutions for mid-sized to large teams.
• Information Systems administration.
• Customer centric mindset.
• DevOps skills
• Strategic thinking - ability to align projects and initiatives with business goals 
• Highly skilled in agile project management with a strong focus on stakeholder management.
• Excellent communication skills
