Technical Assistance (TA) Manager at IDH, The Sustainable Trade Initiative

In sum, the main responsibilities include:

•  Lead and support TA project design from A to Z, including providing insights, facilitate design workshops, and presenting the proposals.
•  Monitor and support TA project implementation of partner projects.
•  Ensure the learning and M&E frameworks within TA projects.

Who you are and what you bring:

•  Minimum BSc. in economics, agriculture, business, supply chain management or related qualification.
•  At least 7 years of relevant working experience, of which at least 5 years in program design and agriculture.
•  Strong communication, advisory and analytical skills, and ability to drive processes for quality analysis and reports.
•  Experience in advising senior external stakeholders at a strategic and business management level.
•  Deep understanding of (financial) business models and experience in building models.
•  Thorough understanding of smallholder-based agricultural value chains (from a private sector perspective).
•  Experience in M&E, IT, financial and agrotechnical solutions is a plus.
•  Strong reporting and presentation skills, incl. building PowerPoint decks.
•  A result-oriented team player, self-propelling and self-organized, eye for detail.
•  Fluency in English.
•  Willingness to travel.
