Technical Engineering Manager at CSI Energy Group

Key responsibilities

Operational Management

• Responsible for all Design to be done as per Project Scope.

Planning

• Coordinate with the Planning Department to meet the deliverables timely.

People and Relationship Management

• Train, coach and manage performance effectively and continuously both with internal staff and consultants.
• Instil a one family culture and be an ambassador for the business vision, mission and values
• Ensure a culture of integrity and commitment to the clients, staff and all stakeholders associated with the Group business.

Reporting & Analysis

• Design Tracking report submission to Client and PM timely.

Budget Management

• Advise to PM and Commercial department with any potential cost impact due to Design changes, variation etc.

HSESS

• Demonstrate HSESS leadership by participating in the respective process by modeling appropriate HSESS behaviors.
• Show awareness of current HSESS performance and programs to reduce injuries.

Compliance

• Company policies and standard operating procedures
• All relevant laws and regulations
• Perform any other duties assigned.

Qualifications

• Education/Qualification: Engineering Degree
• Work experience: 15+ Years
• IT skills: High level of proficiency in MS Word and Excel. SAP Knowledge will be an added advantage
• Language: Fluent in written and spoken English and Kiswahili

• Experience and knowledge of Electro-Mechanical Design
• Knowledge of Design Software
• Good Liaison with Client and Vendors
• Experience of Construction Projects
