Job Summary

Our client is a leading steel fabrication firm that specializes in the design, fabrication, and erection of structural steel works in Eastern and Central Africa. They are looking to recruit a reliable and a qualified candidate to fill in the Technical & Sales Marketer position

Roles and responsibilities

1. Research for new clients who might benefit from company products or services and maximise client potential in designated regions
2. Develop long-term relationships with clients, through managing and interpreting their requirements.
3. Contributing to marketing strategies by researching market trends and associated technologies
4. Negotiate tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs
5. Calculate client quotations and administer client accounts
6. Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education
7. Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product will meet client needs
8. Coordinating sales projects
9. Answering client queries and providing technical product support

Qualifications

1.  A bachelor’s degree in civil/structural engineering
2. 4-5 years of experience in the field of sales and marketing
3. Prior experience in manufacturing and construction fields.
4. Additional degree in sales and marketing is an added advantage.
5. Good communication skills
6. Good interpersonal skill.
7. Able to work well in a team
