Technical Solutions Engineer - Systems Integration at Flare Emergency Response

The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Integration Solutions Architect to join our team. This pivotal role involves researching, designing, and implementing integrated software solutions to enhance and optimize our business operations. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in solutions architecture, systems integration, and coding, with a proven track record of leveraging existing systems, SaaS products, and proprietary software to create cohesive, efficient systems.

• Conduct comprehensive research to understand business needs, operational requirements, and the technology landscape.
• Design integrated software solutions that align with our company's goals, operational workflows, and technology infrastructure.
• Evaluate and select appropriate SaaS and existing systems for integration, ensuring compatibility and scalability.
• Develop and implement integration strategies, creating a seamless workflow between proprietary and third-party systems.
• Collaborate with IT, development, and operational teams to ensure solutions meet business needs and are implemented effectively.
• Provide detailed documentation and training for users and IT staff on integrated systems.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in systems integration, recommending upgrades and enhancements as necessary.
• Onboard non-technical team members onto systems, supervise system usage and take up, and continuously improve systems for accurate data and usability by the entire team.
• Track and monitor system usage, usability, spend and value.
• Administer existing systems, tracking team uptake and access control.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or Master’s degree in any field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in systems integration, solutions architecture, coding, code engineering, systems engineering, or a closely related field.
• Strong coding skills with experience in languages such as Python, Java, Javascript, and .NET.
• Deep understanding of API development, SaaS products, and cloud services.
• Proven ability to design and implement complex integrated systems solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a design mindset focused on creating innovative solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to understand and explain (and present) complex problems and complex sets of technical requirements.
• Strong understanding of system and data security and security best practices.
• Strong understanding of system redundancies and resilience for up time.
