Test and Validation Engineering Intern at M-KOPA Solar

Job Purpose

As a Test and Validation Engineering Intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and quality assurance of our cutting-edge products while gaining valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, you will work closely with our experienced engineers to validate and test our products, ensuring they meet the highest quality standards. This internship will provide you with practical experience in test methodologies, validation processes, and exposure to state-of-the-art technologies. 

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the engineering team to create comprehensive test plans and test cases based on product requirements.
•   Execute test cases and record test results meticulously, identifying, and documenting defects or inconsistencies.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure that new features or changes do not adversely affect existing functionality.
• Participate in product validation activities to ensure that our products meet customer expectations and industry standards.
• Analyze test data to identify patterns, trends, and potential areas for improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software developers, hardware engineers, and product managers to address issues and provide feedback.
• Create and update test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
• Stay up to date with the latest testing tools, methodologies, and industry best practices.
• Assist in developing and maintaining test automation scripts to improve testing efficiency.

 EXPERIENCE/ SKILLS & COMPETENCIES/ LICENCES & CERTIFICATIONS/ EDUCATION REQUIRED

• You are a Fourth Year or Fifth Year student in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex issues.
• Basic understanding of software and hardware concepts.
• Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and present technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Training in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or a related field.
