Theatre Manager at AIC Kijabe Hospital

Theatre Manager

Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, the holder of the position will be expected to glorify God by overseeing the operational activities carried out in the theatre and ensure adequate supplies, good state of rooms and maintenance of higher standards of patient care in a suitable and safe environment.

Applicants Qualifications, Experience, Competencies and Attributes

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Health Systems or any relevant clinical field
• Registration with the regulatory body where applicable
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience, 2 of which should be at management level preferably in a health facility
• Must have demonstrated ability to handle departmental budgets, resources, processes, projects and relationships
• Must have ability to plan, organize, implement and evaluate departmental goals
• Must have ability to accurately plan work assignments, prioritize tasks and deliver deadlines
• Must be aligned to the mission and vision of the AIC Kijabe hospital
