Theatre Technician at Metropolitan Hospital

DESCRIPTION

Assisting in preparation of anesthesia, ensuring cleanliness of the theatre,sluicing used linen and instruments,packing and sterilizing of surgical packs/instruments

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assemble equipment’s and requirements for induction and reversal of anesthesia
• Checking the anesthetic and suction machines for working condition in liaison with the theatre in charge. from and to the operating table.
• Perform high cleaning and dusting of the entire operating area
• Participate in positioning of the patient for the surgical procedure.
• Assisting in lifting of the patients during transfer 
• Any other duty as assigned by the supervisor in line with the job description. Any other duty as assigned by the supervisor in line with the job description 

QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma in Perioperative Theatre Technician
