    User Operations Assistant

    Responsibilities:

    Community Growth:

    • Contribute to the development and execution of strategies to cultivate and engage online and offline communities across universities and different interest groups.
    • Assist in researching and identifying key university and interest group communities relevant to our target audience.
    • Develop and implement content-based engagement activities tailored to engage specific communities. Assist with the implementation of online and offline events targeted towards relevant communities.
    • Analyze community engagement metrics and report progress to the User Operations Manager

    Event Sponsorships:

    • Research and identify potential sponsorship opportunities at events aligned with our target audience and community focus.
    • Assist with the execution of sponsorship proposals and presentations
    • Assist with tracking and measuring the effectiveness of event sponsorships in achieving brand awareness goals.

    General Support:

    • Assist the User Operations Manager with various tasks related to user onboarding, engagement, and retention efforts. Basic knowledge on social media to engage offline event with online channels.
    • Research and analyze user data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
    • Maintain user-related documentation and processes.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Marketing, Communications, Business Administration) or equivalent experience.
    • Strong understanding of online and offline community management principles
    • Experience with social media marketing and content creation.
    • Excellent research and communication skills.
    • Proficient in project management tools and data analysis methods.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Passion for building and engaging with communities.
    • Knowledge of the Kenyan university landscape and different interest groups (a plus)
    • Experience with event sponsorship management (a plus).
