Video Production Specialist at Nestara

Key Responsibilities

1. Conceptualize, film, and edit short-form and long-form videos for social media, ads, interviews, and YouTube.
2. Capture high-quality footage using our equipment (iPhone, Nikon camera, mics, lights) and recommend improvements where needed.
3. Collaborate with the marketing team to interpret brand stories and translate them into engaging visual pieces.
4. Add captions, transitions, and music that align with Nestara’s tone, emotional, authentic, and elegant.
5. Ensure timely delivery, revisions, and consistent quality across all projects.
6. Stay current with social media trends and video storytelling formats.

Requirements

Ideal Candidate

1. A story-driven creator who understands emotion and pacing.
2. Skilled in shooting, lighting, sound, and post-production.
3. Experienced with editing tools (Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut, DaVinci - whichever delivers top quality).
4. Has a portfolio or sample work that demonstrates creativity, storytelling, and clean execution.
5. Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking directions while adding original flair.
6. Nairobi-based and available for regular shoots (approx. 3–4 per month).

Bonus Points

1. Experience in lifestyle, brand, or social impact storytelling.
2. Familiarity with Nestara’s audience or high-end lifestyle brands.
3. Creative use of AI tools to enhance scenes, edits, and storytelling flavor.
