Volunteer Event Usher at ZionPearl Publishers

• In preparation for the launch of one of our book projects featuring Women Leaders, we are looking for TWO persons to serve as Support Volunteer Ushers in a Book Launch scheduled for JUNE 21 2025 in Nairobi.
• The launch will feature prominent corporate women leaders and will provide an excellent opportunity to network and well as build your experience.

Role Description

• To provide ushering services during the upcoming Book Launch to be held in Nairobi
• To be on time for the activities. Ushers need to check in and be ready to work before briefing time.
• To represent ZionPearl Publishers in a professional and friendly manner at all times. Ushers will serve, and make the guest feel welcome and at ease.
• To adhere to the required dress code while ushering. All volunteers’ attire should be clean, fresh and neatly pressed.

Qualifications

SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and in a courteous manner. Candidates with background training in communication are highly encouraged to apply
• Ability to serve and usher guests. Previous experience in serving and ushering is highly valuable
• Ability to deal effectively with co-workers and the general public.
• Ability to deal effectively and successfully with stressful and sometimes difficult situations.
• Ability to grasp procedural techniques, guidelines, regulations, and physical layout.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to read theatre tickets
• Must be age 18 or older.
• Dependable
• The Person Must be within Nairobi to make it easy for them to take this up.
• Must be available immediately.
