Graduate Intern - Marketing at PZ Cussons

Job Purpose:

To provide support to the assigned department while gaining practical experience in a fast-paced environment. The Graduate Intern will assist in day-to-day operations, data analysis, reporting, project execution, and administrative activities while developing the skills and competencies required for a successful professional career.

Key Stakeholders/ Relationship:

• Marketing/Sales/Channel/Supply Chain/Finance/HR team
• Customers
• Agencies

Key Accountabilities:

• Support daily departmental operations and administrative activities.
• Collect, compile, and analyse data for reporting purposes.
• Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and business documentation.
• Participate in projects and continuous improvement initiatives
• Support stakeholder engagement and coordination activities
• Conduct research and market analysis where required
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Line Manager.

Measurement/Performance Indicators​​​​​​​

• Timely completion of assigned tasks and projects in accordance with agreed timelines.
• Accuracy and quality of reports, data analysis, and documentation submitted.
• Effective support in the execution of trade, marketing, and departmental activities within the assigned area.
• Demonstrated learning agility, professionalism, and collaboration through positive feedback from the line manager and stakeholders.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Needed:

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Recent graduate.

Experience

• Previous internship, attachment, volunteer, or project experience is an added advantage.

Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
